OutWiker

A few days ago, I stumbled upon an open-source note-taking software called OutWiker, written in wxPython. You can use this tool or study its code to learn Python programming.

Once I tried it, I couldn’t stop! Today, I’ll share my experience with it.

What is OutWiker

In simple terms: OutWiker is a tree-structured note manager that stores notes as folders, also known as a personal wiki or outline editor.

It supports Windows and Linux, with all notes stored on your hard drive. No worries about being locked into the cloud—just copy the directory for backups.
